An Overview of Ahmadjon Shukurov's Artistic Career and Legacy

This article analyzes the creative collaborations of Ahmadjon Shukurov, People's Artist of Uzbekistan, a renowned maqom performer and composer, with master artists, composers, and poets throughout his artistic career. In particular, it examines the influence of his creative relationships with Komiljon Otaniyozov, Faxriddin Umarov, Abdulla Oripov, and Turob To‘la on his performance skills, stage culture, interpretation of maqom, and artistic worldview. The article also provides a scholarly analysis of Shukurov’s contribution to the development of Uzbek classical musical culture, his role in preserving and continuing artistic heritage traditions, and his creative achievements recognized by the state.
