This article explores the development of the art of dubbing in Uzbek cinema during the 1970s–1980s. It examines key aspects of preserving cultural and linguistic identity in film translation, as well as the role of dubbing in strengthening national identity and popularizing Uzbek culture. Particular attention is paid to the challenges of conveying emotional depth, philosophical content, and the cultural atmosphere of original works.
