This article highlights the poetic heritage that existed in Uzbek poetry before the development of the Aruz system, in particular the improvement of Uzbek poetic systems in the 10th-12th centuries, the "Devoni-Turkic Dictionary" by Mahmoud Koshgari, Yusuf Khos Hadjib and his work "Kutadgu bilig", Ahmad Yassavi and his works created by the barmok system, Ahmad Yugnaki and his work "Hibbat ul-khakoyik", as well as the interpretation of the Uzbek poetic heritage and its use in oral performance.
