In the process of separating raw cotton fiber from the seeds, so that contamination and foreign impurities do not damage the quality of the fiber, they are separated on equipment installed in the cleaning departments. At cotton ginning enterprises, a device (RX) is installed for cleaning (regenerating) the volatiles of raw cotton mixed with trash, in order to separate the raw cotton from the trash that came out of the unit of the device for cleaning large and small litter (UXK). Cleaning of regenerated cotton is a pressing issue. The article examines the reasons for the presence of raw cotton particles in the composition of impurities isolated in experiments conducted in the educational and scientific laboratory of the department "Technology of primary processing of fibrous materials" taking into account the properties of raw cotton. The inclusion of raw cotton particles in the composition of weed impurities and the structural composition of weed impurities were analyzed.
