ARTICLE ANNOTATION

quote
It is known that extensive research is being conducted by world scientists to meet the needs of the population for fiber materials, to reduce environmental problems, and to create new types of raw materials for industrial sectors through the production of consumer products from fiber waste. Currently, there is an increase in the demand for clothes made of natural fibers, which are considered ecologically safe, which requires an increase in the amount and types of natural fibers produced. Taking into account the given information, this article presents the results of research on the extraction of fiber from the plant Cannabis Sativa L, which is considered an ancient plant. The composition of the fiber of the Cannabis Sativa L plant is studied, and information on its fiber layers is presented. Taking into account the fact that plant fiber is rough and that there are difficulties in the production of clothing fabric from it, the lignin content of the fiber was removed from the fiber by alkaline boiling. By choosing the kinetics of the alkaline boiling process, the prevention of the decrease in the mechanical strength of the fiber was controlled by the degree of polymerization of the fiber. The obtained research results allow obtaining high-quality natural fiber in our country and producing new product ranges from it.
