ARTICLE ANNOTATION

quote
The article describes the results of experimental work on the processing of natural fiber waste and secondary paper waste generated in the process of cocoon preparation, and recommendations are given for the use of kraft paper obtained on the basis of this waste as wrapping paper. During the experimental work, kraft paper was prepared using primary and secondary fiber materials, fillers and adhesives. Preparation of paper samples and assessment of their physical and mechanical properties was carried out in the testing laboratory of JV "Global Komsco Daewoo" according to the approved technological regulation. During the research, in order to further reduce the cost of kraft paper and save cotton cellulose, secondary MS-3A paper waste was added to the paper pulp, in addition to fiber waste generated during cocooning. From the obtained results, it can be concluded that the high surface energy of the kraft paper printing materials, consisting of waste fiber and secondary fibers of the cocoon industry, along with cotton cellulose, ensures good adhesion of dyes, and interfiber macromolecules create conditions for mutual reinforcement and help their uniform distribution. We can recommend these trial papers for printing multi-color products for the packaging industry.
