ARTICLE ANNOTATION

quote
In solving the tasks set by our government for representatives of the textile industry, including the widespread introduction of advanced technologies and modern design developments, as well as attracting international brands, the expansion of the range of products with high added value through deep processing of local wool fiber, the localization of assortments, and the creation of environmentally safe technologies for the production of wool-based products are relevant issues. The majority of local wool is coarse, with a diameter of more than 45 μm, differing in thickness and length, and colored fiber, which has a high content of non-fibrous waste and low quality. This wool is practically not used in the textile industry and is considered a waste. The solution to this problem is the goal of this work, in which it is proposed to scientifically substantiate the direction of wool for the production of various products based on fiber thickness and length by cutting the wool in a total of seven parts. In this case, the morphological structure of the wool fiber was studied using a SEC ALPHA electron microscope, dividing it into three zones - primary, secondary, and peripheral. According to the conducted research, wool is recommended for use in the textile industry due to its location on the sheep's body, the average diameter of the fibers in the main part of the side (side) and front leg (shovel), the root mean square deviation and the coefficient of variation, as well as the low content of plant waste in the wool.
