Nowadays, the level of modern double-needle knitting machines in the production of knitted fabrics is increasing, which leads to an increase in the assortment of knitted fabrics. The following factors have an impact on the production of high-quality knitted fabrics on circular needle machines: yarn tension in the yarn feeding system, the depth of the warp in the knitting zone, and the correct drawing speed in the drawing system. In the production of knitted fabrics on circular needle machines, the choice of the type of fabric, that is, the graphic pattern, is based on the technological capabilities of the machine. In the production of ribana fabrics, the graphic pattern is ensured by the correct placement of the needles and removing some needles at the level of the wedges. The change in the type of product, i.e., the production of ribana 2+2, ribana 2+3, and other mixed fabrics from the main fabric of ribana 1+1, has achieved a reduction in raw material consumption, bulk density of the fabric, and improved air permeability of the fabric.
