ARTICLE ANNOTATION

quote
Currently, along with local raw materials, the production of finished goods from blended fabrics using synthetic yarns is of great interest. The article presents methods for obtaining a new structure of two-layer knitwear with low raw material consumption, knitted from various raw materials. In order to study the effect of changing the type of raw material on the technological indicators and physical and mechanical properties of the knitwear, 6 variants of two-layer knitwear were developed. Samples of two-layer knitwear were obtained on a modern program-controlled LONG XING 252SC flat-needle knitting machine. The raw materials used to form the two independent layers were PAN yarn with a linear density of 60 tex for the front layer and spun cotton yarn with a linear density of 20 tex x 4. By knitting the developed two-layer knitwear using various raw materials, it was possible to reduce the raw material consumption, increase the strength and quality indicators of the samples. The created two-layer knitwear can be used in the production of outerwear.
