ARTICLE ANNOTATION

quote
This article discusses the results of analyzing changes in the coloristic properties of cotton fabric treated with natural antibacterial agents. Instead of traditional chemical finishes, eco-friendly and biodegradable natural antibacterial agents from local plants such as Hibiscus sabdariffa, Crocus sativus, Juniperus spp., Ziziphora, and Brassica oleracea var. capitata f. rubra were used. A polyvalent salt Fe2(SO4)3 was applied as a mordant. A significant increase in color intensity was observed.
