This article examines the technological and physical-mechanical properties of two-layer mixed-composition clothing fabrics. Due to the shortage of natural fibers in textile production and the need to replenish them by increasing the production of chemically and artificial fibers and expanding their applications, the factors determining the structure of single-layer and multilayer fabrics are analyzed when designing clothing fabrics from natural silk and chemically blended yarns. The study explores the study's characteristics and improves the design processes for high-quality dress fabrics based on specified parameters. In this research, the first four trial samples were produced under industrial conditions from natural silk and a chemically blended yarn using Method 2. The warp thread consists of polyester (5.5 tex) and the weft thread is silk (6.5 tex). The four fabric samples differ primarily in weft density and weave. Since this fabric is primarily intended for women's clothing, some of its key quality indicators for clothing were tested at the CentexUz testing laboratory, and the results are presented in tabular form. Specifically, results were obtained for such parameters as surface density, thickness, air permeability (AP-360SM device), abrasion resistance (M 235/3 device), and wrinkle resistance (AW-6 device).
