ARTICLE ANNOTATION

quote
This article analyzes the properties of silicon material and its possibilities for use in the textile industry, in particular, in rehabilitation products aimed at developing hand motor skills in children with autism. According to the theory of sensory integration, such materials activate the activity of the child's nervous system through sensations of touch, pressure, and balance. Silicone balls of various shapes that stimulate hand motor skills improve this process, meaning the child learns to correctly perceive touch, pressure, movement, and balance signals. The article experimentally demonstrates the possibilities of developing children's fine motor skills through the use of specially designed silicone-coated fabric. Also, individual forms were made using 3D printing technology, which were used in the design of rehabilitation clothing. The possibilities of use in the production applications of 3D printers are presented. According to the experimental results, the prepared fabric demonstrated high elasticity, hydrophobicity, and mechanical strength. This innovative fabric is recommended as an effective tool for developing manual motor skills, restoring sensory coordination, and supporting calmness and concentration in children with autism.
