ARTICLE ANNOTATION

quote
Ensuring effective thermal insulation of workwear is one of the key challenges in designing personal protective equipment for cold climate conditions. Increased heat loss of the human body at low ambient temperatures requires the development of clothing designs that maintain thermal comfort and ensure the safety and efficiency of workers performing professional tasks outdoors. This study investigates the influence of structural features and style solutions of workwear on its thermal insulation properties and ergonomic characteristics. The aim of the research was to analyze the impact of design parameters and style features of special clothing on the formation of the thermal insulation layer under cold climate conditions. The object of the study was the workwear used by railway and construction service personnel in Aktobe, Republic of Kazakhstan. The research methodology included the analysis of scientific and regulatory sources, comparative analysis of workwear constructions, and design modeling methods. To develop and visualize clothing models, modern digital technologies and artificial intelligence tools were applied, including the specialized software Clo3D, which made it possible to perform virtual modeling of garments, evaluate the fit on the human body, and identify potential zones of heat loss at the design stage without manufacturing physical samples.
