ARTICLE ANNOTATION

quote
This article identifies the most important design aspects of firefighting footwear and the optimal materials for its composition. The heat-saving properties of the composite material were studied, revealing that sample 4 demonstrated the highest heat-saving index of 83.8% when heat was applied to the top layer. Sample 5 demonstrated the highest heat-protection index of 82.9% when heat was applied to the bottom layer. The results of studies evaluating the properties of the composite material were analyzed. Static experimental design methods were used in the study, allowing for the tasks to be solved with the required accuracy. The conditions for conducting a sufficient number of tests for various process parameters were studied. The composite material studies resulted in the selection of materials with the best performance. The selected materials were used in the production of specialized footwear for firefighters. In addition, the heat resistance of the finished footwear, the distance between the stiffeners, combustion levels, and wear resistance were studied.
