ARTICLE ANNOTATION

quote
This article presents preliminary research results on the possibility of using the natural medicinal plant aloe to impart antibacterial properties to Suprem cotton knitted fabric. In this case, 32g/l of aloe extract, obtained based on 16-day preservation at 2-4°C, was used as the main active ingredient to impart antibacterial properties. Based on the results of the microbiological method conducted to determine the resistance of treated knitwear samples treated with aloe extract to gram-negative Escherichia coli (E. coli) and gram-positive Staphylococcus aureus (Staphylococcus aureus) bacteria, the results of bacterial development in Petri dishes treated with ointments of samples treated with aloe extract showed significant positive results compared to changes in Petri dishes treated with standard bacterial samples. This result proves that when aloe leaves are preserved at a temperature of 2-4°C for 16 days, a sufficient amount of antioxidants is formed in its leaves, and when processing cotton knitted fabric using a 32 g/l extract, the bactericidal substances added to it provide sufficient resistance to Escherichia coli (E. coli) and Staphylococcus aureus (Staphylococcus). The next stage of the study aimed to study the influence of the concentration and duration of the preservation period on increasing the resistance of modified tissue samples to Staphylococcus aureus bacteria (staphylococcus).
