THE PLACE OF MUHAMMAD IBN MAHMUD AL-KHWARIZMI’S «JAMI AL-MASONID» IN THE HANAFI MADHHAB

This article provides a comprehensive study of the role of Muhammad ibn Mahmud al-Khwarizmi’s work “Jami al-Masanid” within the Hanafi school of law. The research analyzes the history of the work’s composition, its internal structure, and methodological features, and scientifically elucidates how juridical (fiqh) issues are substantiated through hadith sources. Furthermore, the study highlights the work’s significance in supporting Hanafi legal positions, demonstrates the intrinsic relationship between hadith and fiqh, and reveals its contribution to the development of isnad studies. The article also examines the influence of this work on the scholarly legacy of later Hanafi scholars and substantiates its status as one of the important sources in the history of Islamic law and hadith studies.
