The article investigates the technology for producing novel combined knitted structures on flat knitting machines. The research was carried out in the educational laboratory of the Department of Textile Fabric Technology at the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry. Four variants of novel combined knitted structure samples were produced from PAN 31×2 tex yarns on a “LONG-XING” LXA-252 flat knitting machine. During the study, the formation sequence, knitting notation, and technological parameters of the combined interlock-based samples were analyzed. The production process of the novel knitted structures was examined based on the effective use of existing technological capabilities without making any modifications to the machine design. The results substantiated the possibility of reducing raw material consumption, improving the physical and mechanical properties of knitted fabrics, and expanding the product assortment. The proposed knitted structure variants are recommended for the production of outer knitted garments.
