ARTICLE ANNOTATION

quote
Developing innovative and resource-saving technologies for textile finishing processes, focusing on the use of local raw materials, is a priority for modern industrial development. Therefore, replacing expensive imported synthetic dyes with natural alternatives derived from recycled resources, food industry waste, and local flora appears to be a realistic and economically viable option. Ensuring the eco-friendliness of the manufacturing process is of particular importance when dyeing natural silk with natural dyes. This, in turn, facilitates the production of high-quality textiles that meet modern environmental requirements and cater to a wide range of products, including national, souvenir, and exclusive items, as well as interior textiles. In the absence of domestic production of synthetic dyes, the use of natural dyes obtained from local flora rich in dye plants and secondary resources is becoming a particularly relevant and sought-after solution. This paper presents the results of developing a method for dyeing natural silk with natural dyes. The effect of mordant salts (CuSO4, KAl(SO4)2, K2Cr2O7, Fe2(SO4)3, Ni(NO3)2, CoCl2, Al2(SO4)3, SnCl2) on the quality and color characteristics of natural silk samples is studied. The aim of the study is to provide a scientific basis for an environmentally friendly technology for the production of textile products that ensures high quality, resource conservation, and reduced wastewater pollution by aniline compounds characteristic of synthetic dyes.
