В данной статье исследуются йордановы-банаховы алгебры и их обертывающие ассоциатив-
ные банаховы алгебры. Доказано, что тип произвольной AJW-алгебры совпадает с типом её обер-
тывающей C*-алгебры.
In the given article Jordan operator algebras and their enveloping associative operator algebras are
investigated. It is proved that the type of an arbitrary AJW-algebra coincides with the type of the enveloping
C*-algebra of this AJW-algebra.
