This article presents collection samples of G. barbadense L. species and fiber lengths of mixed plants F2, and most of the fiber length indicators were in the range of 39.0–41.9 mm when analyzed by hybrid classes. Transgressive plants with a fiber length of 43.0-45.9 mm were also isolated from hybrid plants. These transgressive plants can be distinguished from high fiber families by selection at a later stage.
