One of the most important resources on the planet is oil. This mineral
is present in the energy sector and in many industries, and its changing value affects
the global economy. Oil cannot be used in its pure form, so the raw material is
processed for practical use. A mini-refinery uses two stages to refine oil, each of which
achieves a given value of the raw material composition. Refining is an indispensable
step in obtaining a product for industrial or energy use. This article discusses the
design of the mini-refinery technology, its differences from the existing refineries in
