Recently, one of the topical issues related to fruit quality is fruit that has not been chemically processed or by adding chemically synthesised supplements. Since "sweet cherry" is one of the most important fruits that is exported to the neighbouring countries, the subject of this study is "sweet cherry". Sweet cherries are known to be a perishable fruit and for export to neighbouring countries one of the important factors is its shelf life. In connection with the above-mentioned in the article are given the results of research on extending the shelf life of sweet cherries by treating it with ultraviolet ray.
