ARTICLE ANNOTATION

quote
In medicine, medical images are of great importance in providing information about the patient, and their visual appearance, more information, and informativeness depend on the contrast. Image contrast estimation is crucial in medical imaging, especially in the context of multispiral CT scanners. The purpose of this research work is to determine the optimal evaluation criteria for the quantitative evaluation of image contrast in medical images obtained from multispiral computed tomography scanners. In this case, three parameters were selected: Global Contrast Factor, Haralick contrast and Root Mean Square, as a result of conducting experiments using different sets of medical images obtained from multispiral computed tomography scanners.
