Реле  считается  защищающим  и  контролирующим  аппаратом,  меняющий 
значение  вторичной  цепи,  когда  появляется  определенное  изменение  в  первичном 
значении,  то  есть  приводиться  в  движении  или  начинает  работать.  Работа 
защищающих реле и применение их в трансформаторах обеспечивает нормальный 
режим  работы  трансформаторов  и  вместе  с  этим  повышает  срок  службы 
трансформаторов.

Relay  is  protective  and  controlling  equipment,  tracking with  defined  changes  in 
primarily  value  and  changes  value  in  secondary  chain,  that  is,  starts  to  act  or  begins 
working. In technology of relay allows to use noncontacting electromechanics relay and 
semiconductor or ferrimagnetic contact relays. Work of protective relays and use them in 
transformators  supplies  normal  work  regime  of  transformators  and  with  it  helps  to 
expand transformator work period.
