Teri leyshmaniozi -chivinlar orqali yuqadigan Leishmania protozoylarining ko'plab turlari tomonidan qo'zg'atilgan keng tarqalgan tropik infektsiyadir. Uning klinik ko'rinishlari juda xilma-xil bo'lib, ko'plab parazit va xos omillarga bog'liq bo'lib, ular chuqur o’rganilmagan. O‘zbekiston ham teri leyshmaniozi bo‘yicha epidemiologik mintaqalardan biri hisoblanadi. Maqolada Buxoro viloyati boʻyicha yoshi, jinsi va tumanlararo statistik maʼlumotlar toʻplami keltirilgan.
