In this article, the approaches and theories of scientists to water, the geopolitical importance of water, water-related problems between Afghanistan and Iran, conflicts arising between the two countries due to misunderstandings in the use of water resources, the causes and consequences of existing problems, issues such as their impact on security, the status of the Helmand River today, and solutions to water issues between Afghanistan and Iran.

В данной статье рассмотрены подходы и теории учёных к воде, геополитическое значение воды, водные проблемы между Афганистаном и Ираном, конфликты, возникающие между двумя странами из-за недопонимания в использовании водных ресурсов, причины и последствия существующих проблемы, такие вопросы, как их влияние на безопасность, статус реки Гильменд сегодня и решения водных проблем между Афганистаном и Ираном.
