Chelidonium majus L. dan ajratilgan endofitik zamburug’lar bir qator fitopatogenlarga qarshi antagonistik faollikka ega ekanligi aniqlandi. Rhizopus stolonifer FK23 shtammi Fusarium oxysporum va Alternaria alternata, Plectosphaerella cucumerina FK14 esa Verticillium dahliae o’sishini samarali ravishda ingibirladi. Natijalar endofitlarning o’simliklarni himoya qilishning biologik agentlari sifatida potentsialini qo’llab-quvvatlaydi.
