This article reveals the terms widely used in sports, the rules for their creation, lexemes and their additions, suffixation, and prefixciation. Currently, the problems of the origin of terminology, the use of terms and their role in public life are analyzed in modern language. In order to make the study of terms more exciting and also facilitate the approach to teaching sports terms, this aspect is based not only on the already familiar classical methodological approaches, terms are studied by dividing into certain linguistic layers (phonetics, morphology, vocabulary, semantics), but also on elementary techniques for deducing signs from them, which from the point of view of semantics they have a color peculiar to specific languages-rich enriches the national culture and thereby creates its own language corpus. Within the framework of the language corpus, a dictionary of terms that have no equivalents from the point of view of the linguistic and regional aspect is particularly highlighted. Terms in the function of a special layer of the dictionary, even entire terminological systems and terminology, have been the subject of various studies from linguistic, logical and scientific points of view. Every year there is a growing interest in various problems of terminology, both theoretical and practical.
