In nature, all living organisms, including micromycetes, require the selection of an optimal nutrient medium and creation of favorable conditions for biochemical and physiological processes. We have conducted a number of studies to optimize the cultivation conditions of Trichoderma species, increase the variety of bioproducts produced, and enhance their economic efficiency. T. harzianum strain THNUU-1 (857) was grown on several media and we found that the Mandels medium was the most optimal. To reduce the cost, we used 2% cellulose substrates without the addition of peptone, urea, and sucrose. Additionally, we identified agro-industrial waste suitable for large-scale application.
