Ushbu maqolada ekologik ta’lim jarayonida qo‘llanilayotgan pedagogik metodlarning mazmuni, ularning dolzarbligi hamda o‘quvchilarda ekologik ong, tafakkur va mas’uliyatni shakllantirishdagi o‘rni chuqur tahlil qilinadi. Xususan, an’anaviy va innovatsion yondashuvlarning o‘zaro uyg‘unlashuvi, interfaol metodlar, tajriba asosida o‘qitish, loyiha asosidagi faoliyat va amaliy mashg‘ulotlarning ekologik tarbiya samaradorligini oshirishdagi imkoniyatlari yoritiladi. Maqolada, shuningdek, real ekologik muammolarni hal etishga yo‘naltirilgan o‘quv jarayonining metodik jihatlari, o‘qituvchining motivatsion va yetakchilik roli hamda ta’lim muassasalarida ekologik madaniyatni shakllantirish bo‘yicha amaliy tavsiyalar bayon etilgan. Ekologik ta’lim orqali o‘quvchilarda barqaror rivojlanishga bo‘lgan ongli munosabat, atrof-muhitga nisbatan hurmat va shaxsiy mas’uliyat hissini rivojlantirishning samarali yo‘llari ko‘rsatib beriladi.
