COMPETENCY-BASED APPROACH IN IMPROVING THE PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS OF FUTURE PRIMARY EDUCATION TEACHERS

The article analyzes the theoretical and methodological foundations for improving the professional qualifications of future primary education teachers based on a competency-based approach. The competency-based approach plays a key role in the educational system as it focuses on developing not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills. The article highlights the importance of applying innovative methods and technologies to enhance teachers’ pedagogical competencies and provides recommendations for effectively organizing the educational process. This work can serve as a practical guide for future teachers. In the article, the necessity of enriching teacher professional development with individualized, differentiated, and practice-oriented methods based on the competency approach, as well as the role of modern educational technologies in shaping pedagogical competencies, is discussed.
