This article analyzes the content of al-Hakim at-Termizi’s works, their classification, and scientific-philosophical significance. In particular, the essence of the scholar’s “Hakimiya” doctrine, his place in Sufism, and its influence on subsequent generations of scholars are highlighted. This doctrine occupies a special place among the high examples of the spiritual heritage of the East. The study reveals the role of Termizi’s teachers in the formation of his scientific views, the sources of inspiration, and the development of this doctrine based on new information put forward by modern researchers. Also, the thinker’s views on science and enlightenment – that every person has innate reason and perception, the need to use it correctly, knowledge and enlightenment are interpreted from a pedagogical point of view as the main force leading a person to goodness.
