METHODOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS OF THE FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE QUALITY OF SPEED IN FREESTYLE WRESTLERS

This article discusses the methodological approaches, tools and a system of exercises aimed at developing the quality of speed in freestyle wrestlers' training. Speed is considered a decisive factor in the effective manifestation of a wrestler's technical and tactical skills. It analyzes a set of exercises that activate the athlete's neuromuscular activity, perform technical movements at maximum speed and without violating the rational structure. It also shows the methods of developing speed in convenient, complex, simple, random and competitive conditions, the mutual compatibility of simulation exercises and general physical training tools. The article describes a step-by-step approach to improving the quality of speed, the principles of organizing training, and the importance of speed exercises in the pre-competition preparation period on a scientific basis.
