This article examines similes in the Uzbek language and their distinctive linguistic nature. It also investigates the role of similes in literary texts, as well as the specific stylistic features created by individual authors through the use of similes. Furthermore, the study highlights the significance of similes in constructing figurative imagery, one of the emerging areas of contemporary Uzbek linguistics.
