ARTICLE ANNOTATION

quote
This article highlights the process of creating an annotated corpus of English and Uzbek folktale texts. This corpus is partially semantically annotated, featuring tagged linguistic units that express the emotions of happiness and unhappiness within folktale texts. The primary objective of the study is to describe the development process of the English and Uzbek folktale corpus, which encompasses stages such as collecting, cleaning, processing, annotating, testing, and uploading folktale texts into a digital repository. The research material comprises 149 English and 149 Uzbek folktales, totaling 298 texts. By utilizing this research material and executing the aforementioned stages, an annotated digital resource was developed for the analysis of English and Uzbek folktale texts.
