ARTICLE ANNOTATION

quote
The article presents the results of a study on the use of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies for environmental control in waste disposal systems. As an experimental part, a test IoT system was developed using an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor and an MQ-135 gas sensor, the data of which was transmitted via the LoRa channel. Laboratory tests allowed us to determine the accuracy of measurements and energy consumption, and field experiments confirmed the stability of data transmission at a distance of up to 2 km. Promising areas of application of these solutions have been substantiated for us, including pilot projects at landfills and the creation of a national environmental monitoring platform. The results obtained confirm that the use of IoT makes it possible to increase the efficiency of waste recycling and reduce environmental risks.
