Dramaturgical and Stage Interpretation of a Historical Character: The Artistic and Ideological Characteristics of the Play “Tomyris”

This article analyzes the issue of stage interpretation of historical figures in Uzbek theatrical art using the example of the play “Tomyris”. The study examines the dramaturgical structure of the performance, stage composition, directing solutions, and the artistic features of acting performance. In addition, the paper analyzes how ideas such as patriotism, national pride, courage, and female resilience are expressed through the stage interpretation of the character of Tomyris. The results of the study indicate that the play “Tomyris” has significant artistic and aesthetic importance in presenting historical characters in modern Uzbek theatre and contributes to the development of audience interest and respect for national history and cultural heritage.
