ARTICLE ANNOTATION

quote
The paper investigates the interaction of parallel tunnels in an elastic medium in the epicentral zone of an earthquake. Non-reflecting boundary conditions on artificial boundaries are proposed. Numerical modeling is performed using the finite element method and the Bathe method. The influence of the distance between circular reinforced concrete linings under longitudinal and shear waves is analyzed.
