This article analyzes the current issues and diagnostic methods of technical maintenance of parts of the cooling system of internal combustion engines of modern passenger cars. The main purpose of the study is to study effective methods for assessing the technical condition of system parts and determine their impact on the engine resource. In the framework of the work, complex diagnostic methods such as hydropneumatic testing, optical refractometry, infrared pyrometry and vibroacoustic analysis were used. The results of this study are of significant practical importance in increasing the efficiency of vehicle operation.
