This article examines the results of field archaeological research conducted in 2023 at the Pariz-Depe settlement in southern Turkmenistan. As a result of the excavations, residential structures dating to the Eneolithic, Bronze, and Iron Ages, as well as numerous hearths and furnaces, were discovered. The 2023 investigations also yielded new archaeological materials that contribute to a deeper understanding of the site’s cultural development. During the archaeological investigations in the ancient residential area of the site dating to the Late Eneolithic period, numerous stone tools, as well as two small hearths and ceramic artifacts, were uncovered. The findings from the Pariz-Depe settlement represent the first among the newly excavated materials obtained in recent years. The excavated materials have been incorporated into the museum collection of the Institute of History and Archaeology of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan. Furthermore, in accordance with the modern requirements of archaeology, the study of these findings and the archival materials from that period holds significant scholarly importance. The research findings highlight not only the archaeological characteristics of the Pariz-Depe site but also its historical and cultural significance for the region.
