This article analyzes a system of pragmatic exercises in teaching the Arabic language, their methodological foundations, and their importance in developing listening comprehension skills. The issues of forming pragmatic competence, considering the socio-cultural context in communication, and improving students’ speech skills through various types of exercises are highlighted. The article contributes to the development of the communicative approach in teaching.
