The article describes the features of the manifestation of colors and the variability of this indicator in off spring obtained from diff erent selections from Karakalpak sur sheep. It has been established that uniform color mating increases the value of colors, and heterogeneous crossing increases the variability of these indicators.

В статье описаны особенности проявления расцветок и изменчивость этого показателя у потомства, полученного разного подбора от овец каракалпакский сура. Установлено, что однородное спаривание по расцветкам повышает ценность расцветок, а гетерогенное скрещивание увеличивает изменчивость этих показателей.
