Elektr energiyasining sifatini oshirishda bir qator holat va parametrlar mavjud bo‘lib, ularning  ichida reaktiv quvvat manbalarining o‘rni va imkoniyatlari baholanilmoqda. Yangi reaktiv quvvat manbalarining tadbiq etilishi elektrotexnikaning kompleks xisoblashlarini modernizasiya qilishni,  korxonalarga tadbiq etish darajasini, elektr energiyasining sifat ko‘rsatkichlarini asosiy qabul qilingan va olingan natijalar bilan taqqoslash imkoniyatlarini beradi. So‘nggi paytlarda rivojlangan mamlakatlarda elektr energetikasining rivojlanishi energiya tizimlarining samaradorligini yanada oshirish, tarmoq obyektlarini qurish va ulardan foydalanish xarajatlarini kamaytirish, elektr ta’minotining ishonchliligini oshirish uchun eng yangi texnologiyalarni intensiv izlash bilan tavsiflanadi va energiya xavfsizligini oshirish, shuningdek, ekologik ko‘rsatkichlarni yaxshilashni o‘z ichiga oladi.

Существует ряд условий и параметров повышения качества электроэнергии, в рамках которых оценивается роль и возможности источников реактивной энергии. Внедрение новых источников реактивной энергии обеспечивает модернизацию комплексных электротехнических расчетов, уровень их внедрения на предприятиях, возможность сопоставления показателей качества электроэнергии с основными принятыми и полученными результатами. В последнее время развитие электроэнергетики в развитых странах характеризуется интенсивным поиском новейших технологий дальнейшего повышения эффективности энергосистем, снижения затрат на строительство и эксплуатацию объектов сети, повышения надежности электроснабжения и предполагает повышение энергетической безопасности, а также улучшение экологических показателей.

There are a number of conditions and parameters for improving the quality of electricity, within which the role and capabilities of reactive energy sources are assessed. The introduction of new sources of reactive energy ensures the modernization of complex electrical calculations, the level of their implementation at enterprises, the ability to compare electricity quality indicators with the main accepted and obtained results. Recently, the development of the electric power industry in developed countries has been characterized by an intensive search for the latest technologies to further improve the efficiency of energy systems, reduce the cost of construction and operation of network facilities, increase the reliability of electricity supply and involves improving energy security, as well as improving environmental performance.
