The article considers the modern technology of obtaining products by casting on gasifying models and modes of thermal processing of cast parts of machines and equipment. A technology is presented that includes the manufacture of various parts of agricultural and soil-cultivating machines by casting on expanded polystyrene gasifying models with the simultaneous application of a powder solid alloy of the sormaite type to the working surface. The results of a study on the macro - and microstructure of carbide coatings, as well as the process of optimal heat treatment with double quenching for cast finished products are presented.
