The article presents the results of studying the dynamics of the movement of air ions in large rooms. The main forces acting on ions in the ionization zone, in the volume of the fruit storage and on the surface of the processed product are determined in order to establish the ionization modes and the design of the discharge gap of the ionizer. According to the results of research, the issues of placement of ionizers in the volume of fruit storage were resolved.
