The article discusses international projects in the field of librarianship implemented by various countries and organizations, which significantly contribute to improving the quality of libraries and adapting them to societal needs. Within the framework of international projects, libraries can receive new information resources from different countries, as well as books, electronic materials, and journals in various languages. This facilitates access to knowledge in libraries and helps strengthen cultural ties between different nations. Using the example of the National Library of Uzbekistan, the article examines the significance, objectives, and effectiveness of international projects in the development of the library sector. International cooperation aids in elevating Uzbek libraries to a new level and integrating them into the global system of information and knowledge dissemination.
