This article analyzes the provision of students with literature and information resources by information resource centers in accordance with their age characteristics, needs, and interests. It also examines effective methods and technologies for developing and fostering a culture of reading among primary school students, as well as their practical application. Special attention is given to the rational use of books and library resources as a means of enhancing reading culture. In addition, the article highlights issues such as the responsibilities of information resource centers, the factors that have a constant and active influence on shaping students’ reading culture, the need for books, the literacy level of family members, their attitude toward books, the social role of libraries, and the importance of reading.
