The article analyzes the process of formation and its ideological foundations of the new Uzbek national theater, which emerged as an integral part of the Jadid movement in Turkestan at the beginning of the 20th century. It highlights how enlighteners such as Mahmudkhodja Behbudiy, Abdulla Avloniy, Munavvar Qori Abdurashidkhanov and Hamza Hakimzoda Niyoziy used Theater as a means of awakening publik consciousness, improving the cultural and spiritual well-being of their people, and combating ignorance
