ARTICLE ANNOTATION

quote
The article studies the biological and technological characteristics of mono-sex parthenogenetic clones of the silkworm (Bombyx mori L.). The research was conducted during 2023–2025 using APK and 9PK parthenogenetic clones, with the Ipakchi-1 breed used as a control. The viability of larvae, cocoon weight, cocoon shell weight, and silkiness were analyzed. The results showed the biological stability and high productivity of the parthenogenetic clones and confirmed their potential use as promising genetic material in the selection and breeding of silkworm industrial hybrids.
