This article examines the specifics of teaching the course “Dramaturgy of Animated Film” in art and film education. It highlights the differences between the dramatic structures of animation and live-action films, emphasizing the importance of visual and rhythmic thinking, as well as metaphorical creativity. Particular attention is paid to pedagogical methods: from the analysis of examples of global and national animation to student project work. The main challenges in mastering the course are identified and possible solutions are proposed.
